Samsquamch Isn't Real

My negative experience I had here at Clarion was when had injured my side at wrestling practice. I was wrestling the starting 184 pounder at the time and we were practicing our wrestling on our feet. He had gotten to a body lock to attempt to take me down, but then when I spun out of it I pulled an abdominal muscle. After it happened I had to take a short break because it hurt badly. It hurt when I would arch my back or twist in a specific direction and also when you pushed on it. I kept wrestling however and I pushed on through the pain cause I didn't want to stop wrestling. In my mind it was only a minor impedance on my wrestling and I knew even though it was uncomfortable, I would be able to deal with it.

I chose Clarion because I loved how small the campus was here but there was still a good amount of students. I also wanted to wrestle here and I really liked the coaches. I had a good amount of visits to other schools but I liked this school the most. I have had many positive experiences here at Clarion. Many of the people I meet are so nice, for instance my advisor is so nice and will literally help me with just about anything. The advisor for the wrestling team, Mr. Staub, Helps us to create a plan for each semester so we can succeed.

During my second semester of college I expect that I will be able to decide on a major before the end of my first year in college. I am very much leaning towards majoring in Biology but this is not one hundred percent. I also expect to continue to get better at writing and also studying for exams. I thought I did a sufficient job at these last year but I do believe that their is a lot of room for improvement. I want to succeed in all of my courses and strive for an even better GPA than I had last semester. I expect to learn many things about writing this semester and how to compose essays in a very organized and expressive way. I feel that this class will continue to help with my understanding of writing essays.
